Leaving Las Vegas

I never got anything going in the main event.  I busted in the third level after hovering around starting stack for the first 4 hours.  I did manage to crush the Chinese games during the breaks but lost a bit back when I went over to the Bellagio to play the mixed games for the last night before heading home.

Overall my trip was a failure.  I lost money overall and that is the ultimate measure for a poker trip.  It was a big chunk of time and commitment out of my life to be in Vegas for 5 weeks and I dont know if I will be doing this whole thing again.  I feel as though the 5-7 day trips I have made in the past are more condusive to me winning.

I would like to let everyone know how much I appreciate the support I got in the form of emails, texts, and blog comments.  It really was a help having so many friends and family behind me the whole way.

I am flying back to the east coast today and very much looking forward to finally starting my summer.

Hmm, just play poker next time?

If you actually spend so much time and money on propbetting and chinese poker, how can you take the loss as a failure?

    This is just pure gambling.

In the skill department, you won $161,000. Not a bad paycheck for 5 weeks in Vegas.

If you do gamble on netural ev (at best) games, take the loss as entertainment money and not poker money.
