Disappointing.  11 events and no cashes so far.

Actually I had a min cash locked up yesterday in the 2k Limit Holdem event.  Two away from the money I had 4 bets left and could have easily folded to the money but the min cash is certainly not my goal.  I am trying to play each hand to maximize my equity towards winning the highest prize.  So in the big blind with 4 bets left I got it in with the AK and found myself against the 77 which obv held.

One fun hand to report from day 2 in the Limit tournament.  Early raiser, I 3 bet from small blind with 66, she 4 bets, I call.   flop 962 rainbow. Gin!  I check raise flop.  I lead turn when a 3 rolls off.  She calls.  River 5.  Assuming she has the big overpair based on her 4 bet preflop, I think easy check raise on river.  So I check raise and she calls and then turns over the 44 for a straight.   ???????  Is it possible that I get just called here and not win this pot?  Funny!

I spent 2 days this week at the Bellagio playing the 500-1000 mixed game.  The mix was 3 games: 500-1000 Stud and Stud 8 or better and 100-100 NL holdem.  The first day I ran well and picked up 31k.  The second day I did not fare as well and lost 35k.  So pretty much a wash for the two days.
